Season Update November 2022

 Fishing Adventures Wales

Season Update 2022

What a crazy couple of years it's been with COVID followed by a war in Europe and then a cost of living crisis. If that wasn't enough we also lost co-founder of Fishing Adventures Wales Patricia Lloyd, my mother, back last October so everything has been on a slowdown. Along with the damaged nerve in my left side spreading down the body and the clusters being out of control meant tat i had to take some time out from my fishing to get my health back in order, thankfully fellow admins and club members certainly made up for my absence catching some amazing specimens from around Wales. Thankfully i will be back on the bank in a couple of weeks chasing my own trophies once again. I think i have a bit of catching up to do as the club members and admins have been hard at it.

Club admin Danny Curtis has been bouncing around various venues around Wales including some hidden park lakes he found on his journey and has been having great results fishing Pro Baits UK Squid and Orange.

Not Only has Danny been targeting small out of the way waters but some local venues including Caerphilly Castle and it wasn't long before he found the fish and started landing some dark old warriors.

Admin Joel Mathews has been busy on a syndicate water , The Birch Syndicate in Newport, South Wales. After spending a couple of years on his local lake Hendre slowly getting through all the carp he decided to challenge himself and I can honestly say it was the best thing he did. It wasn't long before Joel put his watercraft to use and found the carp,
Joel is now fishing the Birch regular and his catch reports speak for themselves. He has caught some stunning carp from that venue with plenty more to come,

Club Admin Danny Ramsay has also been having his own adventures travelling far and wide due to work but always finding time to wet and line with great results and some stunning carp,

I can't write an update without mentioning other members of the club as they have all been out have their own fishing adventures and been catching some great specimens. Rather than have to list each individual person ill let the photos do the talking as i am sure you will all agree there are some stunning fish being caught.

As you can clearly see by the photos sent in they ave all been busy through winter and summer enjoying their time on the bank and having some great fishing adventures as at the end of the day that's what its all about. I personally cant wait until i jump back on the bank and look forward to seeing and fishing with some of the guys.

Now that everything is calming down, restrictions are over we can now start arranging some fishing trips around the country so members can get together and enjoy the sport we love so much , it's time to begin the next ADVENTURE !

Wet Nets and Tight Lines !
